At Sumo Logic, I spearheaded a major overhaul of our free trial system as part of a broader product design initiative, introducing dynamic nurture campaigns that significantly boosted user engagement and conversion rates. I also developed a comprehensive design system, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. Additionally, I leveraged Intellimize for web CRO testing, generating valuable insights that drove our digital growth initiatives and enhanced product adoption.
Consolidate User Input
The original sign-up process used a complex pop-over modal, requiring users to complete a multi-step journey. By streamlining user input into a simpler process, we reduced friction and improved the overall UX flow.
Optimized UX Flows
Utilizing CRO strategies and analyzing GA4 and heatmap data, I identified user drop-off points and launched multivariate tests. A minimalistic sign-up interface proved to 5x user activation rates.
Increase Sign Up Engagement
Through a rigorous six-month testing process, we advanced the trial sign-up activation from below 5% to an average of over 32% conversion success rate. Additionally, on-page engagement rates saw a substantial increase, reflecting the effectiveness of our optimized user flow.
